Banner Carriers Needed!
City High graduation is scheduled for Friday May 25th, 2012, at Carver Hawkeye Arena, and the City High Alumni Association seeks banner carriers during the confirmation ceremony. We are looking to fill banner carrier slots for several class years. The ceremony begins at 7pm and we ask that banner carriers arrive at 7:30pm.
The event is fun, friendly, and really demonstrates the connections that City High graudates have with both the school and the greater Iowa City area community. If you would like to volunteer, or have any questions, please contact Jim Sangster at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or by calling (319) 338-1060. We look forward to seeing you at graduation!
East Side Parents Concerned About District Planning
We know that City High is "The School That Leads", and we also know that a third high school in Iowa City is unnecessary. But, did you know that City High is still operating under capacity, and that it's been 40 years since a new elementary school was constructed on the east side of the Iowa River? Take a look at this survey, and please consider signing it in support of more east side ICCSD development.
