Alumni Assoc.
The Iowa City High School Alumni Association was formed in 1997. The goals and objectives are:
• Establish a database for communication among faculty, administration, alumni, retired teachers and staff, and current students of City High.
• Periodically organize and sponsor alumni functions.
• Participate with students during graduation ceremonies.
• Have involvement in City High Hall of Fame selection.
• Explore possible fund raising for scholarships and needs which come to the attention of the association.
• Work with staff on a mentoring program for student support.
• Become a means for graduates to learn of other graduates' activities.
• Assist with career guidance for students.
• Inform alumni of activities at City High through newsletters.
